Cypriot Foreign Minister Visits The AHI Hellenic House

The Foreign Minister of Cyprus, Ioannis Kasoulides, accompanied by the Cypriot Ambassador to the U.S. Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis, visited Hellenic House on April 6, 2001. The Cypriot officials met with AHI founder Gene Rossides, Chairman James Marketos, Executive Director Nick Larigakis, Legal Counsel Nick Karembelas, and the staff for a one-hour meeting.

Foreign Minister Kasoulides discussed the progress of Cyprus' accession negotiations with the European Union and expressed his optimism that Cyprus is on the fast track for membership. The members of the AHI leadership also had the opportunity to discuss other items of mutual interest regarding U.S. relations with Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey.
