AHI Welcomes New Legislative Assistant

The American Hellenic Institute is pleased to welcome Nickolas Theros as a new addition to the staff at Hellenic House. Nick will take the post of legislative assistant.

Nick Theros is a recent graduate of the American University's School of International Service. At AU, he majored in International Studies and Middle Eastern Studies, gaining invaluable experience working in such diverse environments as Israel, the Palestinian Territories and the Persian Gulf. His knowledge of foreign affairs and government is an asset to the research and legislation of concern to AHI.

A Washington native, he and his family have been active members of the Greek American community for many decades. Nick's father, Patrick, recently retired from the State Department after serving as the U.S. Ambassador to the State of Qatar.

Nick is delighted to become part of the team at AHI. Working on a myriad of issues important to the Greek American community, Nick looks forward to putting the skills he has developed in university and overseas into practical effect for the good of American interests in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean.

AHI welcomes this young individual to the staff at Hellenic House. His presence and participation at AHI will add to the effectiveness of the Institute.
