Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Visits The AHI Hellenic House

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece, Ioannis Magriotis, accompanied by Greek Ambassador Alexander Philon visited Hellenic House on March 26, 2002. The Greek officials met with members of the AHI leadership which included Gene Rossides, Advisory Committee Member Kostas Alexakis, AHI-Delaware Chapter President Dr. James Faller, Executive Director Nick Larigakis, Legal Counsel Nick Karembelas, and the staff for a one-hour meeting. After which the AHI hosted a luncheon for Minister Magriotis at the Capital Hilton.

The members of the AHI leadership had the opportunity to discuss items of mutual interest regarding U.S. relations with Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey. The meeting also included a discussion of how to advance these items in mutual cooperation, as well as a review of AHI's initiatives -- past, present and future -- to strengthen U.S. relations with Greece and Cyprus.
