AHI Executive Director Speaks at the Ohio State University

WASHINGTON, DC — On May 13, 2009, AHI Executive Director Nick Larigakis spoke to The Hellenic Association at Ohio State University. Mr. Larigakis spoke on the topic of “Greek–American Relations – How Can the Greek American Community be a Dynamic Factor in America’s Foreign Policy.”

The event was also co-sponsored by Sigma Epsilon Phi, The National Hellenic Student Association of America, The Department of Greek and Latin at OSU, and The Olympic Society. In addition to attracting various students from the sponsoring organizations, leading members of the Greek American community of Columbus, OH were also in attendance.

Mr. George Nikoletakis, President of the National Hellenic Student Association (NHSA), along with the members of co-sponsoring organizations helped organize the event.

“It was an honor to speak at the Ohio State University. It pleases me to see the Greek American youth taking interest and initiative to be a part of America’s foreign policy making process,” stated Nick Larigakis.
