AHI to Participate at Inaugural National Innovative Conference

AHI President One of Greek America Foundation’s “40 Under 40” Honorees

WASHINGTON, DC — The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) will be a proud participant at the National Innovative Conference 2010 (NIC2010) hosted by the Greek America Foundation on Saturday, June 12, 2010, in Chicago.  The conference will feature global leaders and corporate giants who will present their "ideas worth sharing" about how they incorporate innovation in their various endeavors.

“When exciting and new opportunities emerge in the community, it is important to support them,” said Executive Director Nick Larigakis.  “We congratulate AHI member Gregory Pappas for having the vision to organize this important event.  AHI President Aleco Haralambides and I look forward to attending this weekend.”

During the weekend, Greek America Foundation will also honor "Greek America's 40 Under 40." The 40 young, accomplished leaders are from throughout North America and have accomplished great success in their professional careers and personal lives.  They also share a common dedication to their communities.  One of the honorees will be AHI President Aleco Haralambides.

“I am humbled and proud to be recognized as one of ‘Greek America’s 40 Under 40,’ Haralambides said.  “It’s an extremely talented group of honorees and I’m just happy to be acknowledged along with them, many of whom are AHI members or past AHI honorees.”
