AHI Foundation Member Meets with President Obama
WASHINGTON, DC — AHI Foundation Board Member Ted Spyropoulos recently shared a moment with President Barack Obama at an event in Chicago.
“We are proud to share this exciting news with the community,” said Executive Director Nick Larigakis. “Ted Spyropoulos has been an avid champion of Hellenic issues and the preservation of Hellenism. I’m confident he shared his thoughts and perspective on these issues with the president. Ted is also a strong supporter of AHI and its programs.”
In addition to serving on the AHI Foundation Board, Spyropoulos serves as the President of SAE-USA. His daughter, Mariyana, an AHI member, successfully won election to become Commissioner of the Water Reclamation District of Chicago.
The American Hellenic Institute is a non-profit Greek American public policy center that works to strengthen relations between the United States and Greece and Cyprus, and within the Greek American community.
