AHIF Study Abroad Program Participant Recounts Her Experience for Alumni Publication

WASHINGTON, DC — Roula Adonakis, a Master of Public Administration candidate at Wayne State University, had her first-person account of her participation on the AHI Foundation Foreign Policy Study Abroad Program published in the University of Michigan’s Department of Classical Studies’ newsletter, announced the AHI Foundation.

“It is wonderful to see the participants of our study abroad program, like Roula, have the opportunity to share her first-hand experiences with her peers,” said AHI President/COO Nick Larigakis. “We thank the University of Michigan’s Department of Classical Studies for affording her the opportunity to tell her story. We hope it will inspire others to participate in the program.”

Adonakis is a 2009 graduate from the University of Michigan where she earned a B.A. in Modern Greek and Political Science.

“The trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience I will never forget,” said Adonakis in her account.

AHI Foundation is now accepting applications for its Third Annual College Student Foreign Policy Study Trip to Greece and Cyprus, June 8 to 24, 2011. The application deadline is April 1, 2011. For more information about the program,please click here.
