AHI Foundation Study Abroad Student’s Experience Recounted in AHEPA District Publication

WASHINGTON, DC — Aspasia (Sia) Bartell, a second-year MBA student from the University of Washington, Foster School of Business, who participated on the 2011 American Hellenic Institute Foundation (AHIF) Foreign Policy Program, had her experience published in the AHEPA Mentor, the bi-monthly official newsletter of the AHEPA Firewood District 22 Family which covers Washington state and Oregon.

“We are pleased that Aspasia was able to share her experience with the Greek American community,” said AHI President Nick Larigakis. “We thank the AHEPA Mentor for publishing her account. We look forward to providing many more students, like Aspasia, with the opportunity to experience the same emotions and to learn more about the history and politics of the eastern Mediterranean region.”

Earlier in the year, Aspasia had her account published in the Foster School of Business blog, Foster Unplugged. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies in 2009 with a focus on the European Union.
