Alexis Christoforous, CBS News correspondent, will be the evening’s emcee. “We are excited about the program we have assembled for our annual awards dinner,” said AHI President Nick Larigakis. “All of our honorees have excelled in their respective professions or as an institution. We look forward to celebrating their achievements with the community.” Weekend of Events PlannedAs part of the weekend’s festivities, AHI will host a dinner reception featuring Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki as the guest speaker, Fri., Mar. 8, 2013, 6 p.m, at the Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) Continental Hall. As part of the evening’s program, a private tour of the historic venue will take place. AHI will also host a breakfast briefing with Ambassador of Greece to the U.S. Christos Panagopoulos and Chargé d'affaires for the Embassy of Cyprus Olympia Neocleous on Sat., Mar. 9, 2013, 9 a.m., at the Capital Hilton.
