AHI President Accepts Appointment to American Community Schools of Athens Advisory Council

WASHINGTON, DC—American Hellenic Institute (AHI) President Nick Larigakis has accepted an invitation to serve on the inaugural Advisory Council of the American Community Schools of Athens.  Mr. Constantine Stergides, chairman, ACS Athens Board of Trustees and Stefanos Gialamas, Ph.D., president, ACS Athens, extended the invitation to President Larigakis, which he accepted September 12, 2013.

“I am very honored and pleased to accept this wonderful invitation, and I thank Chairman Stergides and President Dr. Gialamas for offering me the opportunity to serve ACS Athens in this capacity,” Larigakis said. “I am keenly aware of the tremendous work the school performs in Athens and how the school facilitates the promotion of U.S. relations with Greece.  I look forward to working with the Advisory Council and ACS Board to helping the school achieve its worthy goals and objectives.”
