AHI Welcomes Top Greek Military Official to Hellenic House

WASHINGTON, DC —Lt. General Athanasios Stylianopoulos, B’ Deputy, Hellenic Army General Staff, visited American Hellenic Institute’s (AHI’s) Hellenic House on November 18, 2013.

“It was an honor to welcome Lieutenant General Stylianopoulos to Hellenic House,” AHI President Nick Larigakis said. “We held a substantive discussion about various aspects of Greece’s cooperation with its allies, its geostrategic importance, and its significance as a regional power. In addition, we reviewed Greece’s contributions as a NATO ally from the standpoint of the Hellenic Army.”

Col. Evangelos Papadopoulos, defense attaché, Embassy of Greece, accompanied Lt. General Stylianopoulos to the meeting.
