Top Greek Diplomatic Official Visits Hellenic House

WASHINGTON, DC —Ambassador Anastassis Mitsialis, secretary general, Greece’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended American Hellenic Institute’s (AHI’s) Christmas Party on December 19, 2013.

“We sincerely thank Ambassador Mitsialis for taking time out of his busy itinerary in Washington to visit Hellenic House and attend our Christmas party,” AHI President Nick Larigakis said.

Ambassador of Greece to the United States Christos Panagopoulos accompanied Ambassador Mitsialis, who addressed the attendees about his meetings in Washington and wished everyone a Merry Christmas. Ambassador Mitsialis has served as secretary general of Greece’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs since March of 2013. Previously, he was the permanent representative of Greece to the UN.
