AHI Welcomes Visitors to Hellenic House

WASHINGTON, DC —The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) welcomed visitors to Hellenic House on April 4. 

AHI hosted a group visiting from Greece on the occasion of the White House’s ceremony in commemoration of Greek Independence. Members included George Hatzimarkos, Governor, South Aegean Region; Miltos Goudamanis, CEO, Global Strategies Council; AnthonyKambourakis, President, Hotels' Association of Rhodes and owner, Rhodes Palace Hotel; JohnHorozoglou, Communications Director for a travel agency; and Panos Satzoglou, Program Director, Cosmos FM NY 91.5 Hellenic Public Radio. AHI President Nick Larigakis reviewed the role AHI plays in Washington as well as the challenges Greece faces in meeting its policy goals in Washington.

“We were pleased to welcome this distinguished group of individuals to Hellenic House,” President Larigakis said. “We thank them for taking time from their busy schedules to visit with us and to discuss issues affecting Greece and the eastern Mediterranean.”
