AHI Legal Counsel Publishes Guide to Business Entities in Greece

WASHINGTON, DC — Nicholas G. Karambelas, Esq., a partner in Sfikas & Karambelas, LLP, in cooperation with Tribonian Publishing, LLC, has published the “Comparative Guide to Business Entities in Greece for United States Business Persons.”  Mr. Karambelas is legal counsel to the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) and a director on AHI’s Board of Directors.  The purpose of the publication is to introduce to U.S. business persons the business entities which are available under Greek law.  The publication compares U.S. business entities to the Greek business entities and discusses their similarities and differences.

“We hear a lot about reforms that Greece must implement but not much about the reforms that Greece has implemented,” AHI President Nick Larigakis said. “Greece has enacted the most sweeping revision of its business entity laws since 1920.  This publication is most important because it describes Greek business entities using terms which are familiar to American business persons.”

  • The publication is available free of charge as an ebook.  It can be downloaded from  www.ngklaw.com.

The American Hellenic Institute is a non-profit Greek American public policy center and think tank that works to strengthen relations between the United States and Greece and Cyprus, and within the Greek American community.
